Fun With Weird Fonts

Some signs from various areas that I made while messing around with some fonts I found.

How to Install Fonts

So Mandy had no idea on how to install a font which leads me to believe that many people need to know how to do this.

So for today we are going to use the font diediedie similar to the Joker's handwriting in THE DARK KNIGHT. So download the file here:

http://www.dafont.com/diediedie.font

So once that is downloaded, unzip it. For those of you who also don't know how to unzip a file, double click it and it should create a folder on your desktop by default. Inside this folder there is a read me.txt and a diediedie and a file name after it like, on macs, .ttfvand this would be the font. So from here:

Mac users: double click and when a window pops up, click the install button

Windows vista users (poor people): right click on the font and click install- this should work.

Windows XP users: go to the control panel and go under fonts. Drag the font and put it with the rest of the fonts.

Once this is done, you should be able to read this post- JOKER STYLE!

Scrapbooking!!!

So tuesday I spent about seven hours of my day scrapbooking! It was pretty fun. Except for the fact that my legs hurt from sitting so long and every time I would get up I would almost fall over. I found it entertaining though, and I'm sure my family did too. It was also pretty amusing when I started talking to the walls. I'm not sure why I did but I have come to one conclusion. Spending a lot of time by myself makes me partially insane. Not that I wasn't before but I'm even more now if you can imagine that! (haha)

How to Make a Laptop Case

So I needed a laptop case and instead of buying one, the cheapskate I am, I decided to make one.

So here's what you'll need:

• Measuring instrument
• Cardboard
• Duct tape
• Exact o knife or scissors

So measure it out. Decide how large a piece of cardboard you need and get it and cut it so it looks like a box flattened out completly.

Now basically put it in its shape and duct tape the outside (and, if you want, the inside).

An option is to add an extra area for carrying power cords and other accessories.

Woot!

I just love it when my siblings do stupid things. I love it even more when I catch it on camera! :P Woot woot! For camera's in general!!

Frolicking

Yay!!! Today I learned two songs on my guitar!!! And tomorrow I am going to frolic either around my house or my mom's work with an accent. It shall be fun!!! Yay for cool accents!!!! Yay for frolicking!!!!

Why I will never craft with paper

So I saw a print out for this TF2 dispenser and a fan, not an obsessive fan, I set out to build it.
So basically this took forever to make and it sucked but it does work which is nice to know. However it would definitely look better if it
was done by someone with more experience and less shaky hands. Id say
this took 6? hours to make. I cut this out mostly with scissors and a
knife. Feel free to ask questions and leave comments.
Note: I didn't do the health tank on the side because of how long this takes

Funness

So I attempted to "organize" my room again and this is what I found: a box full of lotion, lip gloss, nail stuff, and a bunch of other cosmetics. I rarely ever use any of it so it's just collecting dust, but oh my goodness!!!! There is soooo much stuff in the box. Which the box is 1'x 1' so it can fit a lot of junk in it.
So for the moment my room is rather clean and I have less junk cause I spent today throwing lots of stuff away. Surprisingly it was kind of fun going through random junk boxes. Which in one box I found some of those stick on tattoos, they were pretty fun, as you can tell(hehe). Hippie style (haha) , I also found some that were unicorns, fairies, and elves but I thought these were way cooler (haha). So I am having way to much fun cleaning my room and I clearly need to get a life (hehe).

Dragon 3-D Illusion

After seeing this dragon around the internet a billion times, I decided to try and make one of my own to see how well it worked. I found it was surprisingly easy to cut and to fold. To do the entire thing, it took me about 15- 20 minutes. Go ahead and try it for yourself.

Cleaning Room!

So this is what happens when I attempt to clean/organize my bedroom. As you can tell, it doesn't work out so well. And what is even better is that it was around ten at night when I decided I wanted to start this project so I didn't finish until really late, and I'm still not really done. But for now I am.

Improvised Capo

So because I am too much of a cheapskate to buy a capo, I decided to try and, well, improvise one. I looked for a few ideas and then looked at what I had. I came up with a pink sharpie and some rubber bands. To get the rubber bands to hold it down tightly, you will need a lot of them and you will need to place your object (in this case, pink Sharpie) as close to the fret to get a clear sound. You can use many objects for this so just see what you have and happy playing.

The Head Maze

So here I have one of the most challenging mazes I have ever made and I want too see if anyone can solve it. This is why I have put it here in multiple forms. This is a line maze and it took about six or seven hours to make. These aren't great quality but they should be sufficient. And for the people who like to say "look! Here's a hole!", stop being stupid.

Things to Do...

Yay!!!! I've got nothing better to do this summer. So I am going to do a ton a random things. Like I think I'm going to learn how to type properly. I also want to learn swedish, and now I have a reason! I found a Swedish Bible! How cool is that! I will also make an attempt to make a dent in my reading list, but who knows what will happen there. Some of the books are not very intriguing. Like Tweak, it sounded good but it has a lot of foul language and it's all about a drug addict, not very cheery. So this summer should be interesting and hopefully productive!!!

Total Reconstruction

Well after I decided everything on my blog was copy and pasted, I realized I needed a new look and feel for this blog. So here I am, I have deleted the bad posts (only one is left now). I am hoping the new author (hopefully soon to be authors) will do good for the blog. Anyhow, here's to new content!
